NEW CONTINENTE BOM DIA IN SÃO BENTO
Rua de São Bento, in Lisbon, is the location of the new Continente Bom Dia store, which opens today, featuring 375 m2 of sales area, and which is open daily from 8:30 am to 9 pm. The store, which created 15 new jobs, continues the expansion of MC’s proximity stores in urban locations and neighbourhoods.
For Samuel Chaves, Store Director, who has been with MC for 15 years, “customers increasingly privilege the proximity and convenience of our stores. This location, in this typical and residential neighbourhood, reinforces the perception on the quality of fresh produce, variety, safety and convenience of our stores, differentiating attributes for our customers”.
The opening of the space is marked by a 10% discount on Continente Card campaign, throughout the entire store, between the 13th and 17th of April.
The new store offers a range of thousands of products, which includes Continente’s private label as well as the brands that usually make up the basket of choices made by the Portuguese. This opening reinforces the brand’s commitment to both Lisbon’s district and municipality, which now have 68 and 23 stores, respectively.
At Continente Bom Dia Rua de São Bento, consumers can also use reusable bags for their fruit, vegetables or bakery products’ purchases. We also highlight the fresh and seasonal products always available, from fruits and vegetables, to bakery, butcher and fishmonger products that the store has to offer, with regional products, as well as the ability for customers to benefit from the advantages provided by the Continente Card.
There are currently 144 Continente Bom Dia stores in Portugal, which employ around 6,800 people.
