This weekend there will be direct discounts of 40%, 50% and 60%, on all toys, in the more than 300 Continente stores in the country as well as on Continente Online. The discount covers more than 300 brands, with exclusive novelties and toys, such as the ‘Luccas Neto’ doll and games.

The campaign includes toys of all categories – except bicycles and child mobility –, for all ages, from several well-known brands. Among the offer are toys from brands such as ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’, ‘Rainbow High’, ‘Lego’, ‘Paw Patrol’, ‘Nenuco’, ‘Hot Wheels’ and ‘Play-Doh’. ‘Zoko’, Continente’s private label, which presents novelties annually, highlights the line of puzzles with exclusive themes, the reinforcement of the ‘Sarita’ doll line with new environments and a new line of communication as well as a new look on Classic Games.

Continente’s Toys campaign reinforces the brand’s commitment to offering the best savings solutions in the widest range of products, with the entire offer in the same place. As a result of this ambition, this year, the campaign features the launch of two new segments: ‘arts & crafts’ to explore creativity and the ‘kidult’ segment, for fans of pop culture.

Geek culture, or pop-culture, is a growing trend in the world and also in Portugal. For the Portuguese market, Continente has partnered with ‘Road Sixty Geek’, the Belgian pop culture store, and together they bring experiences that allow customers to enter a world full of their favourite series, films or games. “The aisles where we implemented ‘Road Sixty Geek’ are among the most visited ones in Continente stores (in the non-food area), which illustrates the great acceptance it has received from our customers and this category’s success, especially among pop culture fans”, says Luís Magalhães, Toys’ Category Manager at MC. There are currently 5 Continente hypermarkets with the concept already implemented, but by the end of September there will be 20 stores featuring this project.

All these initiatives are part of the brand’s value proposition, which aims to be the best toy store in Portugal, with the best prices, everywhere.
