Meu Super wins Consumer Choice award for the 6th consecutive year

Meu Super was awarded, for the sixth consecutive year, the Consumer Choice Award. This distinction, achieved by Meu Super, proves the reference in terms of accessibility and quality of these spaces, as well as the close and adapted service to the customer.

The 2020 Consumer Choice Award, which is now in its ninth edition, rewards brands according to the evaluation of thousands of consumers, with Meu Super supermarkets presenting the highest level of satisfaction or recommendation attributed by customers, based on their performance in 2020.

Sonae MC's proximity stores were also winners, for the fourth consecutive year, of the Excellentia Award and the Five Stars Award.

The Excellentia choice award is the result of an internal evaluation, which is carried out on the quality of customer-oriented management processes. It is the only Prize in Portugal that recognizes companies that stand out for their Customer Centric performance.

The Five Stars award assesses customer satisfaction, price/quality ratio, purchase intention and recommendation, confidence in the brand and innovation. This evaluation involved 267 thousand consumers and shows the recognition of customers, who evaluate the quality, work and excellence of 152 winners, among brands, personalities and media.

Tomás Lince, Meu Super’s general director, stresses that “these distinctions are an important stimulus for our employees and partners and the materialization of what these proximity supermarkets intend: to respond to the needs of the current consumer with a close, complete, efficient and fast service. These awards are of particular importance because they are awarded based on the opinion and experience of consumers' purchases, which, for Meu Super, means the recognition of the quality of its services and products”.
