Tony Carreira is the latest confirmation at Continente Food Festival
Tony Carreira is the latest confirmation of the 4th edition of the ‘Continent Food Festival’. The renowned singer thus joins the previously announced artists - Daniela Mercury, Carolina Deslandes, David Carreira, Fernando Daniel, Nenny and Pedro Abrunhosa -, performing on July 9th, at 9:00 pm. Concerts start at 3:00 pm, and the Festival doors open at 11:00 am.
The artists will be taking the stage at the Festival, which will take place in Porto’s City Park, on the 9th and 10th of July, with free admission. The renowned artist Tony Carreira, the event’s latest confirmation, will perform on the first day, July 9th, at 9:00 pm.
Featuring an area of 200,000 m2, the ‘Continente Food Festival’ is a unique opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in two days full of gastronomic experiences, from showcookings, workshops and tastings, as well as being able to have close contact with Portuguese brands and renowned Chefs, who promise to turn food a spectacle. There will be wine tastings, barbecues, a giant wheel, a children’s area with activities for the little ones, and much more.
Experiences such as ‘Cozinha Continente’ (Continente Kitchen), which will bring together 7 national and international Chefs - António Loureiro, Chakall, Cris Mota, Hélio Loureiro, Justa Nobre, Manuel Almeida and Rui Paula - will be serving delicacies that visitors can taste for 4.5 euros. For barbecue lovers, the ‘Da Grelha’ (Grill) area by Pála-Pála is the go-to space to taste various cuts, but there will also be several vegetarian options in the ‘Cozinha de Rua’ (Street kitchen) area. At ‘Cozinh’Arte’ by Oliveira da Serra, moderated by presenter Marta Bateira, known as Beatriz Gosta, there will be several special guests (such as youtubers, musicians, among other artists) and dynamics between them and the event’s Chefs. The aim here will be for them to show their cooking skills, by cooking recipes live.
