DUNKIN’ MUNCHKINS® ARRIVE IN PORTUGAL EXCLUSIVELY IN CONTINENTE STORES

Portugal is the first country in Europe to get the new Dunkin’ Munchkins®, available exclusively in all Continente stores. This product, which was created as a way to use the dough cut from the centre of Dunkin’ donuts, is a success in the USA. Boxes with 6 units (3.99 euros) include three varieties: ‘Strawberry Sprinkle Munchkin’, ‘Cinnamon Biscuit Munchkin’ and ‘Cocoa Munchkin’.



The ‘Strawberry Sprinkle Munchkin’ are filled with strawberry and decorated with pink frosting and colourful sprinkles; the ‘Cinnamon Biscuit Munchkin’ have a white filling, with a cinnamon biscuit frosting and the ‘Cocoa Munchkin’ are filled with cocoa and hazelnut, with a dark chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles.

In addition to the Dunkin’ Munchkins®, there is an exclusive range of Dunkin’ doughnuts, featuring four different flavours, available at Continente stores: The ‘Cheesecake Crumble’, with cheesecake filling and cream and biscuit frosting; the ‘Cocoa Hazelnut’, with cocoa and hazelnut filling, cocoa frosting and coloured topping; the ‘Boston Kreme’, a classic ring filled with cream and chocolate frosting and the ‘Strawberry Sprinkle’, a ring with strawberry filling and coloured frosting. This permanent range is for sale in boxes of two units for an RRP of 2 euros.

Since the end of 2020, Continente stores sold more than 4.8 million Dunkin’ doughnuts. The American brand’s and Continente’s goal is to continue to increase and diversify the range of products for sale in stores, surprising consumers with different innovations at different times of the year.
