CONTINENTE STRENGTHENS ITS OFFER WITH NEW PROXIMITY STORE IN BENFICA
Continente opens today the brand’s first store of 2023 and the 30th store in the municipality of Lisbon, located on Rua Professor Reinaldo dos Santos, in Benfica, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to urban locations and neighbourhoods and creating 9 jobs.
The store is open daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and sets off with a 10% discount campaign on Continente Card, throughout the entire store, between the 26th and the 29th of January, which accumulates with the promotions in force.
This opening follows MC’s proximity store’s expansion policy, in a format that is closer and more convenient for customers.
We highlight the fresh and seasonal products that are always available, from fruits and vegetables, to the bakery, butcher and fishmonger that the store has available, with national products and the possibility for customers to use the advantages provided by the Continente Card.
The Continente Card represents a savings ecosystem, which already is being used by around 4 million Portuguese families, who can thus benefit from advantages in different categories of family expenses – food, restaurants, fuel, health, textiles, etc.
In terms of environmental sustainability, the stores have 100% LED low-consumption light bulbs, and equipment to control and reduce excessive water consumption as well as containers where customers can deposit used cooking oil, used batteries and cork stoppers, which will later be taken for recycling.
There are currently more than 150 Continente Bom Dia stores in Portugal, where around 7000 people work.
