Continente Bom Dia opens in Alfragide

With Cafeteria, Well's and Plug & Charge services, the new Continente Bom Dia Alfragide store, located on Avenida das Laranjeiras, in Amadora, opened today. This new space, with approximately 1250m2 of sales area, guarantees all safety rules to protect both customers and employees and will create 51 jobs.

The opening of the space is marked by a 10% discount on Continente Card campaign, throughout the store, running from the 26th to the 29th of November.

The brand's 4th store in the municipality of Amadora reinforces the brand's commitment in the Lisbon district and offers a range with thousands of products, including Continente's private label and the brands that usually make up the basket of Portuguese families' choices.
Continente Bom Dia Alfragide also presents itself as a reference space in the environmental front, where customers can charge electric vehicles while making their purchases, via 2 charging stations - Plug & Charge. Continente Card holders, who make purchases over € 30, can also benefit from free charges, with about 35km of autonomy.
Also noteworthy is the fresh produce always available, namely fruits and vegetables, bakery, butcher and fishmonger. Here, consumers will find a store very similar to traditional markets, with a very comfortable and contemporary environment, where all information about the origin and characteristics of the produce will be available.

The local population and institutions in the region will be able to count on Missão Continente’s social intervention initiatives, now promoted by this new store. Continente Bom Dia Alfragide will support, with its daily food surpluses, the associations ‘AMORAMA’ (Association of Parents and Friends of the Deeply Disabled) and the ‘AFID Diferença’ Foundation.

In the new store’s area of influence, there is also support for 9 institutions*, focused on fighting food waste, fighting hunger, promoting healthy eating and environmental sustainability. To learn more, just visit the Missão Continente website.

In the environmental front, it is also worth mentioning the availability of equipment where consumers can deposit used cooking oils, used batteries and cork stoppers, which will later be taken for recycling. Consumers also have at their disposal a variety of Reusable Bags in the fresh produce area and next to the cashiers.
