CONTINENTE DO BÉBÉ ORGANIZES WORKSHOPS TO SUPPORT PARENTS IN THE EXPERIENCE OF PARENTING
Throughout 2024, the ‘Continente do Bebé’ brand joins ‘Grow Up Baby’ to promote workshops led by two specialist nurses with masters in Child and Paediatric Health - Filipa Santos and Telma Maravilha -, on topics related to parenting and child development.
There will be five topics covered in 14 workshops, which will last three hours: Hygiene and comfort care (recommended from pregnancy to new-born babies), Breastfeeding (recommended from pregnancy to new-born babies), Food introduction (recommended for babies aged between 4 months and 1 year), Safe and peaceful sleep (recommended from pregnancy to babies aged 1 year) and Emergencies and mode of action (indicated from pregnancy to babies aged 3 years).
Customers who are Continente do Bebé Club’s members will have access to early registration for the workshop, so they can guarantee their presence. The sessions held so far have had great attendance, with the number of available seats sold out well in advance. This year’s first session took place last Saturday, February 24th, and the next sessions’ themes calendar is now available.
Launched at the beginning of 2021, ‘Continente do Bebé’ is a brand specializing in food, hygiene and cleaning products for babies, designed and adapted to each growth stage. The brand meets strict criteria for quality, effectiveness, nutrition and sustainability as it was developed in partnership with several experts. Continente is committed to being at the side of families with products developed specifically for the needs of babies and parents, from day one, which reflect the important role of its private label in democratizing access to products with high quality and proven effectiveness.
‘Grow Up Baby’ was founded by two specialist nurses with masters in Child and Paediatric Health, Filipa Santos and Telma Maravilha, who created this project to, on the one hand, transmit current and credible information, and on the other, share practical tips that make parents’ daily lives easier and safer. Both are also breastfeeding consultants from UNICEF, trained in basic and advanced life support and postgraduates in Sleep in Children and Adolescents.
Registration for the workshops can be done online on the website and has a limit of 20 registrants (40 adults, 20 children). The training has an associated value of €15, paid to ‘Grow Up Baby’, and Continente, at the end of the session, will deliver gift kits to trainees with ‘Continente do Bebé’ products, worth more than €20. All fathers, mothers and caregivers registered at the Continente do Bebé Club will have early access to registration for these workshops. The next session will be on March 16th and will have ‘Emergencies and ways of acting’ as a theme, with registrations opening on February 29th for club members and on March 4th for the general public.
