Colombian singer Sebastián Yatra is the Continente Food Festival’s most recent musical confirmation and will perform in Porto’s City Park, on July 9th at 7 p.m., with free admission.

‘Tacones Rojos’, one of the most played songs in Portugal during 2022 and which remains strong in airplay in 2023, has close to 500 billion streams on Spotify alone. The track was awarded the Latin Grammy for Best Pop Song and the artist won the second Latin Grammy with ‘Dharma’, as Best Pop Vocal Album. To date, Sebastián Yatra has won two Latin Grammys and had 12 nominations during his career.

Sebastián Yatra chose the ‘Continente Food Festival’ as the venue for his exclusive concert in Portugal. The artist was born in Colombia, grew up in the United States of America, and is currently a reference in Latin pop music at an international level. Throughout his career he has collaborated with renowned artists and groups, such as One Republic, Alejandro Fernández, David Bisbal, Carlos Vives, Ivete Sangalo, John Legend, reinterpreting the song ‘Tacones Rojos’ in an English version and more recently in the new single ‘Vagabundo’ with the king of bachata, Manuel Turizo, and Beéle, popular Latin urban music artist.

This is the 5th edition of the ‘Continente Food Festival’, the only free event in Portugal that brings show and entertainment together with the latest novelties in the gastronomy and food territory, showcookings, and affordable meals prepared by renowned chefs.

Continente, through the Food Festival, aims to democratize access to entertainment through music, gastronomy with prestigious chefs, and provide family moments with the multiple free activities accessible to all who visit this festival.
