The Calema brothers — António and Fradique — from São Tomé and Príncipe, came to Portugal to follow their professional training in the music area and started their concerts in 2016. In 2019, they entered the ‘Festival da Canção’ as both composers and performers of the song ‘A Dois’.
With millions of views on YouTube, Calema will bring to the ‘Continente Food Festival’ a mix of African rhythms and international influences, providing an intense and energetic sound experience.
Nina Toc Toc, the child character who shares her healthy lifestyle and her love for animals and nature with children, also takes the stage at the ‘Continente Food Festival’. The artist will perform for the first time at this event on Sunday, July 9th, at 11 am.
Nina Toc Toc, played by actress Marta Peneda, is an extension of the ‘Xana Toc Toc’ project, which was born in 2010 by the actress’s mother, Alexandra Abreu, with songs that inhabit the imaginary of the younger ones. The artist sensitizes children to topics such as recycling, friendship and respect for difference.
The ‘Continente Food Festival’ also includes several moments of entertainment for the younger ones, including the Kids Zone, the Ferris Wheel and the Slide.
Continente, through the 5th edition of the Food Festival, intends to democratize access to entertainment through music, cuisine with prestigious Chefs and to provide family moments with the multiple free activities accessible to all who visit this festival. Artists Ana Moura, Sebastián Yatra, Diogo Piçarra and Rita Rocha are also confirmed at the event.
The festival’s full programme and music line-up are announced on the brand’s platforms and social networks.
