ZU reinforces its bet on the Algarve by opening store in Lagos
The parish of Odiáxere, in the municipality of Lagos, is the latest bet by ZU, a specialized retail brand by Sonae MC dedicated to dogs and cats’ well-being and health care, for the opening of a store, thus marking its presence in the brand new ‘Power Center’, in Continente Modelo’s shopping gallery.
With this opening, which takes place this Friday, July 29th, the brand now has a total of 41 spaces in different cities in the country, this being the third one in the Algarve region.
In addition to selling food, hygiene and veterinary products as well as accessories, this 84m2 store is prepared to provide grooming services, namely bathing and clipping, at extended hours – between 8:30 am and 9 pm – in order to be able to match the different needs of families and their pets.
“We already have a ZU space in Continente Modelo’s Shopping Gallery in Loulé and another one in Guia. This new store in Lagos aims to reinforce the brand’s presence in the Algarve region with a wider space, with a greater diversity of products and also with the availability of a bathing and clipping service”, says Ana Cardoso, commercial director at ZU.
According to the official, the brand "aims to be close to families with pets" and "this new space is part of the expansion strategy from the brand which, in the future, plans to open new stores in several cities in the country”.
