‘TOUR POR TODOS’ RAISES OVER 5 THOUSAND EUROS IN MIRANDELA

The ‘Tour por Todos’ (Tour For All) fourth solidarity and intimate concert by Tony Carreira, which took place on May 12th, at the Mirandela Municipal Auditorium, within the scope of Missão Continente’s 20 Year anniversary, raised 5,127 euros.

Half of the amount raised in the concert reverts to the Sara Carreira Association and the other half to a local association. The Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped Citizen of Mirandela (APPACDM) is the institution supported in Mirandela, which has a relationship with Continente, through donations of surplus food from the brand’s stores in the region.

During the concert, the respective checks handed over to APPACDM and to the Sara Carreira Association, in a moment that was attended by their representatives, as well as the Mayor of Mirandela, Júlia Rodrigues.

Missão Continente, which celebrates 20 years of activity, remains committed to creating social value in the communities it supports. The ‘Tour por Todos’ allows us to be even closer to the community, through music with the artist Tony Carreira, who has collaborated with our Mission for several years. With everyone’s contribution, it will be possible to support the Sara Carreira Association and 10 local institutions”, says Nádia Reis, Director of Communication and Social Responsibility at Continente.

Missão Continente’s support to the APPACDM - Portuguese Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Handicapped Citizen of Mirandela, will allow us to continue and reinforce our work of redeeming food and feeding our people in need of help, co-creating a more sustainable, just and solidary society. We believe that by joining forces we will always achieve much more and for that reason we are thankful to Missão Continente and to all those who purchased tickets for this ‘Tour por Todos’ concert.” says Paulo Lago - Vice-President of the Board of the APPACDM.

Guarda, Torres Novas, Ílhavo, Sintra, Faro and Amarante are the cities where the ‘Tour por Todos’ will go through, with intimate concerts. The goal is to create a close and familiar relationship between the public and the artist who has kept, for several years, a close relation with Missão Continente.

Tickets will be for sale at the brand’s stores in each region, for a single price of 15 euros. More information at: https://missao.continente.pt/iniciativas/20-anos/tour-por-todos.
