NEW CONTINENTE BOM DIA OPENS IN XABREGAS
Xabregas, in Lisbon, has, as of today, a new Continente Bom Dia store, with a 500 m2 area and 16 employees. The new store is open daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and follows MC’s expansion of proximity stores in urban locations and neighbourhoods.
The opening of the space is marked by a 10% discount on Continente Card campaign, throughout the entire store, between the 11th and 16th of October.
“Our customers increasingly privilege our stores’ proximity and convenience. This location, in Xabregas, reinforces the brand’s commitment to this proximity, to the quality and variety of our products and to the safety and convenience of our stores, which are Continente’s differentiating attributes” explains the Store’s Director Pedro Santos, who has been with MC for 16 years.
The new store offers a range of thousands of products, including those of Continente’s private label and the brands that usually make up the basket of choices made by the Portuguese. This opening reinforces the brand’s commitment to both the district and municipality of Lisbon, which now have 72 and 26 stores, respectively.
At Continente Bom Dia Xabregas, consumers can also use reusable bags when buying fruit, vegetables or bakery products. Also noteworthy are the fresh and seasonal products, from fruits and vegetables to the bakery, butchery and fishmonger that the store has available, with national products, as well as the possibility for customers to use the advantages provided by the Continente Card.
In terms of environmental sustainability, the store features 100% LED low-consumption light bulbs, equipment to control and reduce excessive water consumption and containers where customers can deposit used cooking oil, used batteries and cork stoppers, which will later be taken for recycling.
There are currently 145 Continente Bom Dia stores in Portugal, where around 6800 people work.
