CONTINENTE TOURS PORTUGAL BY BIKE
Between August 9th and 20th, for the third consecutive year, Continente joins around 130 cyclists of different nationalities to support the 84th Tour of Portugal by Bike, one of the sports events most cherished by the Portuguese. With 1,598 km, the route goes through practically every region of mainland Portugal, promoting a passion for sport, unity and team spirit.
During the 84th Tour of Portugal, the ‘Continente Caravan’ will be the main stage for brand activation, with a visit to the places of departure and arrival, over the 10 stages, distributing gifts to the most enthusiastic.
In order to strengthen engagement and proximity to the public, Continente will promote free and outdoor movie screenings in some of the locations where the Tour of Portugal passes through. Through ‘Cinema na Praça’, Continente intends to provide good times to the public that follows this important sporting event.
Continente is, once again, the official sponsor of the yellow jersey, a sign of triumph, as well as a story of conquest, of effort and of overcoming. “For Continente, sport is a way of promoting and celebrating gender equality, tolerance, respect, resilience, the importance of fairplay, nationality and unity, and the Tour of Portugal by Bike is a way of sharing and carrying these values across the country.
