‘Continente do bebé’ launches bath and hygiene products
The ‘Continente do Bebé’ brand reinforced its range with the launch of bath and hygiene products, dermatologically tested and subject to rigorous quality tests. From shower gel and shampoo to massage oil and moisturizing lotion, all products are designed and created especially for babies, from 0 to 36 months.
The ‘Continente do Bebé’ 2 in 1 shower gel (750ml, € 2.79 RRP) and the chamomile shampoo (500ml € 1.99 RRP) were specially developed to gently cleanse the baby's skin, hair and scalp, with a gentle formula that doesn't sting the eyes, and the shampoo also contains refreshing and soothing properties due to the chamomile extract. The ‘Continente do Bebé’ massage oil (500 ml, € 2.69 RRP) and the moisturizing lotion (500 ml, € 2.99 RRP) were specially developed to moisturize and soothe the baby's delicate skin, making them ideal for use after the bath, to nourish the skin leaving it soft and with a pleasant feeling of comfort. In addition to this range of bath and hygiene products, which were tested under dermatological control, there are also some complementary products to the baby's daily hygiene, such as compresses, cotton pads, cotton swabs and bath sponges.
Launched at the beginning of this year, the 'Continente do Bebé' brand has a specialized range of food, hygiene and cleaning products for babies, designed and adapted to each growth stage, and which already surpassed 6 million euros in sales, with more than 500 thousand loyal customers. The new ‘Continente do Bebé’ bath and hygiene products complement the brand’s already more than 50 references – from diapers, pads, wipes, to laundry detergent and softener, and fruit mash and puree – which meet strict quality, efficacy, safety, nutrition and sustainability criteria, for babies from 0 to 36 months.

‘Continente do Bebé’ diapers do not contain perfume, lotion or natural latex rubber. They are produced with soft and absorbent materials, dermatologically tested, and with the most advanced technologies – XL Tube Technology, which guarantees faster absorption and better distribution of pee, and Instant Dry Touch, an absorbent layer that keeps the baby’s skin dry instantly and lasting, which guarantees up to 12 hours of protection. These diapers also have OEKO-TEX certification, which guarantees safe textiles for the baby's skin, with independent tests that verify the absence of more than 100 undesirable substances. They also have FSC certification, which guarantees that all the cellulose used in diapers and pads comes from sustainably managed forests.
Regarding the ‘Continente do Bebé’ food range, it was developed by the brand's team of nutritionists who, together with the suppliers, created specialized nutritionally balanced solutions that were tested and approved by parents and babies. The porridges are produced in Portugal and meet very strict nutritional criteria: no added sugars (sweetened only with fruit and vegetable pulps), no sweeteners, artificial flavours or colourings, no preservatives, no hydrogenated fats and no palm oil. Fruit purees also meet very strict nutritional criteria – they are simply pureed fruit, with no added sugars and no preservatives.
