Located in the parish of Santa Maria Maior, in Funchal, Meu Super again bets on Madeira Island, with the opening of the 14th store in the region. The brand’s 3rd commercial space in the city has a range of products adjusted to consumer preferences and a service close to the customer, for a personalized shopping experience.

The new ‘Meu Super Bom Sucesso’ store, open from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 9 pm, and on Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm, aims to serve the local population with a diversified and quality offer and with all the advantages provided by the Continente loyalty card, through in-store discounts and benefits from a wide network of partners.

Also at the beginning of this year, Meu Super reinforced its presence on Madeira Island, with the opening of a store in the parish of Caniço, in Santa Cruz, with fruit and vegetables, charcuterie, take-away and bakery services. At the end of 2021, Meu Super S. Martinho also opened, on Avenida do Colégio Militar, in Funchal.

In 2022, Meu Super was the winner, for the 7th consecutive year, of the ‘Consumer Choice’ award, which demonstrates notoriety and recognition from consumers. Meu Super stores were also awarded, for the fifth consecutive year, the ‘Excellentia’ and the ‘Cinco Estrelas’ awards.

‘Meu Super’ opened 37 new stores in 2021, including Madeira, Azores and Cape Verde, which stand out for their quality fresh products, the presence of Continente’s private label products and other market-leading brands, competitive prices and an attractive promotional plan reinforced by the ability to use Continente’s fidelity card, through in-store discounts and benefits from a wide network of partners.

In 10 years, Meu Super opened around 300 stores across the country, with a total sales area of ​​50,000 m2 and created 1,500 jobs. In 2021, sales at Meu Super stores exceeded 175 million euros, strengthening its position in the segment of stores with less than 400 m2.
