CHEF CHAKALL AND DAVID CARREIRA WILL CHOOSE ‘THE WORLD’S WORST COOK’
Chef Chakall invited singer and actor David Carreira so that together they can find ‘The World’s Worst Cook’ – Continente’s new entertainment show - which will be broadcast on the brand’s Youtube channel, starting October 15th.
Continente’s new entertainment series - ‘The World’s Worst Cook’ - will feature several guests throughout its broadcasts. The participants invited to enter this challenge, and compete against each other, are Madalena Abecasis, Carolina Carvalho, Carolina Deslandes, Tiago Teotónio Pereira and Jorge Andrade.
‘The World’s Worst Cook’ consists of 4 episodes, of 20 minutes each, and, in each of them, one of the contestants will be expelled until the winner is determined. The elimination competitions aim to assess the participants’ culinary knowledge, either by cooking dishes or by tasting ingredients while blindfolded, to see who can guess the ingredient correctly, among other challenges.
In the 1st episode, participants are challenged to prepare a ‘Caprese salad’ and ‘Bacalhau à Brás’.
In the 2nd episode, they are challenged to cook a “perfect” fried egg and, as for the main course, a ‘Bitoque’.
In the 3rd episode, the challenge is to cut pork into 2 cm cubes and prepare, as a main course, ‘Carne de Porco à Alentejana’.
In the 4th episode, the contestants are challenged to cut coriander and peel shrimp, thus being put to the test by making two dishes: ‘Amêijoas à Bolhão Pato’ and ‘Açorda de Camarão’.
Recorded in Rock in Rio Lisboa’s Continente space, the show’s episodes will be available weekly on Continente’s Youtube channel.
