Meu Super was chosen as the no. 1  brand in the ‘Proximity Supermarkets’ category, in the prestigious ‘Escolha do Consumidor’ (Consumer Choice) Award, this being the 9th consecutive year in which it has been distinguished by Portuguese consumers.

The ‘Escolha do Consumidor’ (Consumer Choice) Award, going on its 12th edition, recognizes brands based on the evaluation of thousands of consumers. Meu Super stands out by achieving the highest level of satisfaction and recommendation from customers, based on its performance throughout 2023.

In this year’s evaluation process for the ‘Escolha do Consumidor’ (Consumer Choice) award, more than 235,000 evaluations were carried out with 1400 brands being evaluated, from sectors as diverse as Social Communication, Food, Travel and Leisure, Products, Home Equipment and Hygiene, Personal Care, Services and Specialized Commerce, Beauty Products and Services, Child Care, Financial, Automotive and Rail Transport.

Consumers identify, initially, which attributes they value the most in their relationship with brands and then make their assessment using more appropriate evaluation methodologies (product trials, mystery shopping, online audits, among others). The brands awarded by consumers are the brands that best completed the attributes required and valued by consumers during 2023 and that, after this evaluation, achieved the highest levels of satisfaction.
