WELLS STORES ALREADY SELL NON-PRECRIPTION MEDICINE ONLINE
As of this month, Wells stores will be making available the sale of non-prescription medicine through the brand’s website, wells.pt. With delivery available in all mainland Portugal’s districts, Wells is now the first player in the market to guarantee coverage on national delivery of over-the-counter medicines. An offer that reinforces what is now the largest health, wellness and beauty online store in Portugal.
João Cília, General Manager at Wells, reinforces that “since the launch of the new online store, we have been working daily to provide our customers with a true omni-channel experience and, in fact, over-the-counter medicines are a highly sought after and valued category by our customers. As of today, it will be possible to order all health, wellness and beauty products in a single place, in a simple and comfortable way, which allows us to be even closer to our customers and thus reinforce Wells’ commitment: to democratize access to these products.”
Consumers across the country can now purchase more than 400 medicine references, which, until today, were only available for sale in physical stores, from medicines to relieve pain in situations of fever, flu and colds, to an answer to help with sleep deprivation and anxiety. Everything just a click away.
This initiative represents yet another strategic step by the brand towards the democratization of health and well-being for all, guaranteeing access for all to non-prescription medicines and essential health products, in a convenient way, and at a very competitive price.
All municipalities in mainland Portugal are covered by this new service. Deliveries are free: at home, for purchases over €39, and for collection at any of the 300 Wells stores through the Click & Collect service.
