MORE THAN 4 THOUSAND TOYS AT CONTINENTE’S FAIR
‘Bring your Christmas to life’ is the motto of Continente’s campaign, with more than 4,000 toys on sale for up to 50% of the recommended RRP, running until December 24th. From timeless classics to recent novelties, Continente features a wide range of options such as ‘Gabby's Dollhouse’, ‘Paw Patrol’, ‘Bluey’, ‘Squishmallows’ and ‘Spidey’ and many others that children follow daily on television, in cinema and in books.
In addition to the items for sale in physical stores, Continente Online features more than 500 exclusive toys that can be delivered to customers’ homes or in more than 170 Click&Go stores, free of charge.
The dolls category remains one of the most sought after, and it is possible to find several trending brands such as ‘Monster High’, ‘Rainbow High’ and ‘Sarita’, but also the classics from ‘Barbie’, ‘Nancy’, ‘Titucho’ and ‘Nenuco’. In this world of dolls, the offer of toys that promote inclusion and diversity stands out, such as the ‘Sarita Extra Fashion Afro Hair’ or the new ‘Nenuco’ dolls with Hearing Implant, Down Syndrome or ‘World Nenucos’.
On the other hand, building fans can choose from hundreds of ‘Lego’ models, from architecture to the ‘Disney’, ‘Minecraft’, ‘Speed Champions’, ‘City’, ‘Ninjago’, ‘Friends’ and ‘Harry Potter’ ranges.
For babies, the ‘Fisher-Price’, ‘Baby Clementoni’, ‘Chicco’ and ‘Happy Bear’ brands are highlighted, and for preschool age, favourites include ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’, ‘Squishmallows’ plush toys, ‘Bluey’, and ‘Spidey’.
This year, Zoko, Portugal’s leading private label toy brand, brings a universe of fun for the whole family and presents an entirely renewed image, with ‘Zoko’s Speed Wheels’ range, with tracks and garages.
The brand’s sustainability concerns are also reflected in ZOKO’s ‘Play to Grow’ line, where all 16 of the brand’s toys are FSC certified. To complete the sustainable offer, three products using reused plastics were introduced: the Dish Drainer; Stove and kitchen accessories (Zoko Faz Conta) (Zoko Make believe); and the Bucket of stackable shapes (Zoko Happy Bear).
With the aim of increasing and improving its offer, Continente reinforced its focus on the Arts & Crafts segment with products such as painting studios, stylist kits for dolls, customizable toys, sets that allow the creation of videos and the stimulation of creativity.
