MEU SUPER OPENS ITS 63rd STORE IN LISBON
Meu Super continues its expansion throughout the national territory with the opening of its 63rd store in Lisbon, located at Rua Marcos Portugal, in the Misericórdia parish.
Open daily, from 9 am to 9 pm, the new commercial space aims to be a reference among the local population in terms of the offer’s diversity and quality, and is where customers can enjoy all the advantages provided by the Continente loyalty card, through in-store discounts and benefits in a wide network of partners.
Meu Super’s R. Marcos Portugal store is characterized by a service close to the customer, with a range of products adjusted to the preferences of consumers in the region, for a personalized shopping experience.
In 2022, Meu Super was the winner, for the 7th consecutive year, of the Consumer Choice award, which demonstrates notoriety and recognition from consumers. Meu Super stores were also awarded, for the fifth consecutive year, with the ‘Excellentia’ and the ‘Cinco Estrelas’ Awards.
The ‘Meu Super’ brand opened 37 new stores in 2021, including Madeira, Azores and Cape Verde, which stand out for their quality fresh products, the presence of Continente’s private label products and other leading brands in the market, competitive prices and an attractive promotional plan reinforced by the ability to use Continente’s Fidelity card, through in-store discounts and benefits from a wide network of partners.
Over 10 years, Meu Super opened around 300 stores across the country, with a total sales area of 50 thousand m2 and created 1500 jobs. In 2020, Meu Super stores’ sales exceeded €171 million, reinforcing its position in the segment of stores with less than 400 m2.
