MEU SUPER OPENS 9TH STORE IN CAPE VERDE
Meu Super opens today its 9th store in Cape Verde, located in Mindelo, on S. Vicente Island. The new store has 100 m² of sales area and is Sonae MC’s 3rd proximity store on S. Vicente Island.
The Meu Super brand is currently present on 3 of the 10 islands of the Cape Verde archipelago - São Vicente, Santiago and Sal, where all stores offer Continente brand products.
“We are currently present in all districts of Mainland Portugal, Madeira Island and the Azores archipelago and we continue to strengthen our operation in Cape Verde with the opening of the 9th store. We want to continue to expand, both nationally and internationally, positioning Meu Super as a reference retail brand in Cape Verde, together with local partners” explains Tomás Lince, general director at Meu Super.
Meu Super stores are characterized by a service close to the customer, with a range of products adjusted to the region and a personalized shopping experience. The chain offers the quality and variety of Continente’s brands such as ‘Seleção Continente’, ‘Fácil & Bom’, ‘Contemporal’, ‘Continente Equilíbrio’, ‘Continente ECO’, ‘Continente do Bebé’ or ‘MyLABEL’ and is also where customers can enjoy all the benefits provided by the Continente loyalty card, through in-store discounts and benefits from a wide network of partners.
Over the last 10 years, ‘Meu Super’ has opened around 300 stores across the country, with a total sales area of 50 thousand m2 and created 1500 jobs.
