Meu Super gifts a car to celebrate its 10th anniversary

To celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary, until June 12th, the ‘Meu Super’ convenience supermarkets will gift a Volkswagen 'Up!' car to the customer who makes more purchases, with a value equal to or greater than € 25, registered in Continente Card.

Meu Super establishments are supermarkets that answer to the customers’ most demanding needs: nearby stores, with personalized service, extended hours and quality products, with variety. This proximity and convenience format has gained greater importance within customers during the pandemic period, and thus remained as an option for frequent purchases, in the vicinity of home, workplace or schools.

For Tomás Lince Fernandes, Meu Super’s General Director, “we intend that consumers have the best shopping experience in the brand’s stores. In the year in which we celebrate the brand’s 10th anniversary, we will return your preference with an innovative campaign, leveraged by the Continente card, and in partnership with our customers’ ‘neighbouring’ stores”.

For the official, “these 10 years of Meu Super’s success story are due to the relationship of great partnership between the entrepreneurs who manage each store and the brand, of the Sonae MC universe”.

In 2020, Meu Super opened 17 stores and the chain represented more than 171 million euros in sales. With about 300 stores, the brand is present in all districts of Mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores and also has stores in Cape Verde, which aim to be a reference in terms of product diversity and quality of fresh products, characterized by a personalized service and close to consumers.

In 2021, the Sonae MC’s convenience store brand was the winner, for the fourth consecutive year, in the ‘Five Stars’ and ‘Excellentia’ awards and for the sixth consecutive year in the ‘Consumer Choice’ award. These distinctions, achieved by Meu Super stores are proof that these spaces are a reference in terms of accessibility and quality, as well as for their service that is increasingly closer and adapted to the customer.
