ANA GUIOMAR, MANUEL LUÍS GOUCHA, PEDRO ALVES, RITA PEREIRA, RODRIGO PAGANELLI AND SÃO JOSÉ LAPA IN THE ‘PRESENTS AT THE TABLE’ CAMPAIGN
‘Together we can gather more seats at the table’ is the motto of the ‘Presentes à Mesa’ (Presents at the Table) campaign by Missão Continente, conceived and produced by TVI and Plural, featuring Ana Guiomar, Pedro Alves, Rita Pereira, Rodrigo Paganelli, São José Lapa and presenter Manuel Luís Goucha.
In the video, these familiar faces explain how the Portuguese can contribute to the ‘Presentes à Mesa’ campaign, so that more people can have a full table this Christmas. The campaign runs in Continente stores and Online, through the sale of €1 and €5 solidarity vouchers, until January 8th, 2023. The goal is to support 328 Portuguese institutions across the country and the Food Emergency Network in the fight against hunger.
In addition to the stars who give life to the ‘Festa é Festa’ TV show’s characters, other faces from TVI also joined the campaign, such as the presenter Manuel Luís Goucha and Rita Pereira, in order to draw attention to the food emergency that the country is going through and to support several families that are facing an unprotected situation.
The amount raised will be split evenly between the Food Emergency Network (50%) and the local institutions supported by the stores (50%). This way, customers support the Food Emergency Network - which works on a national scale -, but also the local institutions, contributing directly to their community and fellow countrymen.
Missão Continente’s new solidarity campaign has as partners the Portuguese Football Federation, the Portuguese Nutrition Association and the National School of Public Health.
