Portuguese textiles in the new KASA collection
The new autumn-winter digital catalogue by KASA, Continente’s homeware brand, is now available in its first edition, out of four, that will be launched this season. Here, home décor tips are presented with the new ‘Bohotanic’ and ‘Deep Rustic’ collections, presented by Joana Freitas, model and influencer. The catalogue also features novelties such as the multifunction frying pan, which cooks everything and in different ways, and the low pressure cooker which speeds up cooking, but can be opened at any time. Featuring patterns developed by national designers, the new collection reflects the latest trends in décor, bedding, tableware, pillows, vases and baskets.
Available until February 19th, 2023, this digital catalogue, optimized for mobile, tablet and desktop, complements the Autumn Home Fair brochure. It is the first of a total of 4 KASA catalogues for the autumn-winter 22/23 season. The remaining ones will be presented gradually, with different themes, until January. The 2nd catalogue will bring Christmas decoration tips; the 3rd edition will arrive in December to inspire the creation of table settings for the festive season and will present the new lines of KASA brand glasses; and, in January, the 4th catalogue will present the Heating collection and the Lighting and Laundry novelties.
The ‘Bohotanic’ collection is inspired by nature, mixing natural elements like leaves and flowers, with bohemian chic patterns that warm up our homes in the winter. It is the right collection for those who like to take risks in mixing patterns and materials: bedding with floral motifs, colourful pillows and textured vases. The ‘Deep Rustic’ collection, geometric and colourful, mixes rhythmic compositions with a contemporary touch and natural materials. We highlight the pillows with topstitched finishes, the jute tapestry with coloured frames that match the rustic baskets.
The KASA catalogue also includes the latest and best seller furniture, with a 20% direct discount.
Until October 30th, it is possible to find items from the new KASA collection on sale, with direct discounts of up to 50%, at the Autumn Home Fair taking place in all Continente stores.
After the cast iron tableware’s success in the previous collection, in aqua green and blue, the pans, inspired by the French chefs’ favourites, for cooking on the stove or oven, return in a limited edition with two new colours, yellow and red (from 35€).
With kitchen lovers in mind, the brand presents the new low pressure cooker and the multifunction frying pan. The low pressure cooker (promotional RRP of €45 until October 30th) was specially designed to reduce cooking time and save energy, when compared to traditional pans, intensifying flavours and preserving the food’s nutritional quality. It can be safely opened while cooking to add ingredients or seasonings. The multifunction frying pan (promotional RRP of €30 until October 30th), which can sauté, fry or even bake in the oven, includes a removable handle that makes it easier and safer to place in the oven and optimizes storage space. It also includes two openings, practical for draining liquids without splashing, and a basket for frying.
In stores, customers can also find the vertical recycling bucket (promotional RRP of €40 until October 30th), an essential for organizing, that facilitates the sorting of waste in an organized, simple and compact way.
For this season, KASA’s textile segment has been reinforced with thermal sheets, short and long poncho blankets, with and without hoods, and, especially for the youngest, glow-in-the-dark blankets. There are also novelties in quilts, duvets and decorative pillows. We highlight the floral bedding set, produced in Portugal and with OEKO-TEX certification, produced via sustainable processes and without harmful substances, for people or the environment.
“More than 80% of home textile items (bed linen, tablecloths and bath towels) are manufactured in Portugal, prioritizing the excellence of Portuguese textiles, promoting a sensible and sustainable ecological footprint”, as explained by Cristina Braga da Cruz, Director of Product Development at MC.
“We want to keep showing that décor items, with quality and design, accessible to everyone, can be part of monthly purchases. The KASA brand has teams dedicated to creating products and collections that match every family’s home. Whatever your style, we present the best in our digital catalogue every season. By February, we will launch 3 more themed catalogues and we are very satisfied with the final result”, explains Mónica Moas, responsible for the Home commercial area at MC.
KASA products can be ordered online at continente.pt or at homestory.pt. You can also find them at the nearest store and order at the ‘Mais Continente’ kiosks, which provide direct delivery to customers’ homes at zero cost (‘Mais Continente’ kiosks’ exclusive in most hypermarkets).
