It is a competition recognized by official bodies such as INPI – National Institute of Industrial Property and the World Wine Observatory, which annually evaluates around 900 references from countries such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovenia or Australia.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe gold medal was awarded to \u201cVidigueira Premium<\/a>\u201d Alentejo White wine. \u201cVidigueira Premium\u201d Alentejo Red<\/a> and \u201cVidigueira Signature\u201d Alentejo Red<\/a> wines, produced by \u201cAdega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito\u201d under the responsibility of winemaker Lu\u00eds Morgado Le\u00e3o, were awarded silver medals.\r\n\r\nThe wines \u201cCasa de Vila Verde\u201d Great Choice Loureiro Vinho Verde<\/a> and \u201cJanelas Antigas\u201d Great Choice Vinho Verde<\/a>, produced by \u201cCasa de Vila Verde\u201d, and the \u201cAlgazarra Signature\u201d Lisboa Red wine produced by \u201cCasa Santos Lima\u201d, under the responsibility of the winemaker Diogo Sep\u00falveda, were awarded medals silver.\r\n\r\nSupport for national production and the provision of the best that is produced in the different national wine regions is at the origin of the work that Continente has been developing over the years.
