After the 75 tonnes of food delivered to PRC, the 75 tonnes of food destined for the Food Emergency Network are now arriving. The aim is to help the many families in need of support in this national emergency period.\r\n<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EijL7Zc3kqc\" width=\"560\" height=\"500\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe>\r\n\r\nPromoted by Miss\u00e3o Continente and the LAPS Foundation, the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/nuncadesistir.continente.pt\/?utm_source=sonae%20mc&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=nunca%20desistir&amp;utm_content=noticias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Never Give Up<\/a>\u201d campaign, launched on April 10<sup>th<\/sup>, united the country around a solidarity movement that raised 639 thousand euros, to which Miss\u00e3o Continente added the donation of 150 tonnes of food products.\r\n\r\nFor Isabel Jonet, President of the Portuguese Federation of Food Banks Against Hunger, \u201cNever give up is to never give up helping and never giving up bringing solidarity to the people in need\u2019s table\u201d.\r\n\r\nThe delivery of goods is now managed by the PRC and the Food Emergency Network, which will deliver goods such as milk, tuna, olive oil, beans, chickpeas, pasta, among others to vulnerable populations.\r\n\r\nThe donation is being audited by PWC consultant, an independent external entity, since the beginning of the campaign, as a guarantee for transparency of the process and its reliability.\r\n\r\nSince the beginning of the new Coronavirus pandemic in Portugal, Miss\u00e3o Continente continues to express its <a href=\"https:\/\/mc.sonae.pt\/noticias\/covid19\/missao-continente-doa-milhares-de-bens-e-equipamentos-de-protecao-a-entidades-e-instituicoes-de-todo-o-pais\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">support<\/a>, through several institutions, to the most vulnerable populations as well as to Health Professionals and Civil Protection Agents.\r\n\r\n#nuncadesistir #missaocontinente #nevergiveup","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Miss\u00e3o Continente is finalizing the donation of 150 tonnes of food products to the Portuguese Red Cross (PRC) and to [&hellip;]","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":7152,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[178,179,158,184,175,166],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7244","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-campaign","category-comnunity","category-continente-en","category-covid-19","category-news","category-social-responsability"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
