{"id":3589,"date":"2019-04-23T21:30:06","date_gmt":"2019-04-23T21:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mc.sonae.pt\/?p=3589"},"modified":"2019-05-21T15:33:17","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:33:17","slug":"240000euros-distributed-among-12-institutions-through-the-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mc.sonae.pt\/en\/news\/continente-card\/240000euros-distributed-among-12-institutions-through-the-country\/","title":{"rendered":"240.000\u20ac distributed among 12 institutions through the country"},"content":{"rendered":"The winning institutions of the 2018\/2019 Miss\u00e3o Continente Donation initiative were finally disclosed, amongst which the amount of 240.000\u20ac, raised through the 2018 solidary gifts Christmas\u2019 campaign, will be distributed.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nAfter a preliminary online public vote, during the month of December, the 179 applications were evaluated by a specialized jury, that analyzed all projects in depth, regarding their pertinence, relevance, coherence, sustainability and adequacy to the proposed target-audience.\r\n\r\nThe jury, composed of National School of Public Health of NOVA University Lisbon (ENSP-NOVA), Portuguese Association for Hospital Development, Directorate General for Health, National Program for the Promotion of Healthy Eating, Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities and GRACE – Group of Reflection and Support to Corporate Citizenship, selected 12 institutions<\/a>\u00a0whose projects\u2019 core developing areas are healthy eating, fighting food waste and social inclusion.\r\n\r\nThe amount attributed to each institution ranges from 14.000\u20ac and 26.500\u20ac, depending on the necessities of each project and will allow to put into practice ideas such as the creation of composting centers and greenhouses for bio-agriculture, the psychosocial reintegration of mental handicapped people through culinary workshops or the creation of a restaurant that will employ workers in need of asylum or refugee status, amongst others.\r\n\r\nAligned with the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals, Miss\u00e3o Continente<\/a> continues to promote projects and initiatives that are innovative and change-promoters, meeting the needs of the present society and having sensitization and mobilization as its performance focal points.\r\n\r\nWinning projects<\/strong>\r\n\r\n– Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o S\u00e3 (Segura e Aut\u00f3noma)<\/a> | Associa\u00e7\u00e3o de Pais e Amigos do Diminu\u00eddo Intelectual \u2013 APADI (Bragan\u00e7a) | 25.000\u20ac\r\n– Coisas da Terra<\/a> | Associa\u00e7\u00e3o para a Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de Cidad\u00e3os Inadaptados da Lous\u00e3, ARCIL (Coimbra) | 25.500\u20ac\r\n– Cozinha do Bairro<\/a> | Centro Paroquial S\u00e3o Sebasti\u00e3o (Set\u00fabal) | 18.000\u20ac\r\n– Cozinhar Autonomia<\/a> | Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa \u2013 Delega\u00e7\u00e3o de Vale de Cambra (Aveiro) | 17.000\u20ac\r\n– DOTAR \u2013 Dar Oportunidades de Transformar Aprendizagens em Realidades<\/a> | Centro Social e Cultural S.
