The symbolic check delivery ceremony was attended by the Regional Secretary of Health and Civil Protection, Dr. Pedro Ramos, the President of the Board of Directors of SESARAM, Dr. Rafaela Fernandes, the Clinical Director of the Dr. N\u00e9lio Mendon\u00e7a Hospital, Dr. J\u00falio N\u00f3brega, the Coordinator of the Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at SESARAM, Dr. Edite Costa, the Director of Continente Modelo, Fernando Silva, and the Director of Continente\u2019s Operations in Madeira, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Salvado.\r\n\r\n<strong>\u2018Vales que V\u00eam por Bem\u2019 Donation delivery Images <\/strong><strong>Link<\/strong>\r\n\r\nIn addition to the \u2018Vales que V\u00eam por Bem\u2019 campaign, whose funds raised are intended for the neonatal and paediatric intensive medicine service at Dr. N\u00e9lio Mendon\u00e7a Hospital, Miss\u00e3o Continente directly supports this unit with works to expand the Neonatology service and 50 thousand euros to purchase equipment.\r\n\r\nAccording to Jos\u00e9 Carlos Salvado, Director of Continente\u2019s Operations in Madeira, \u201c<em>Miss\u00e3o Continente has developed several local support actions in the Madeira region, in a dynamic that strengthens the concept of \u201820 years of Thinking about others\u2019. \u2018Vales que V\u00eam por Bem\u2019 had the main objective of supporting the neonatology service at Funchal\u2019s Hospital, which does fundamental work with all new-borns, especially premature ones, born in the Region. Once again, the families came together and showed their solidarity by contributing, in such a short time, the considerable amount of 100,322 euros. Miss\u00e3o Continente also directly supported this unit with works to expand the Neonatology service and 50 thousand euros to purchase equipment<\/em>\u201d.\r\n\r\nThis is also an initiative that is part of the \u2018Bom para a Madeira\u2019 campaign, which Continente is developing in the region, as a way of celebrating MC\u2019s activity in the Archipelago and bringing the brand closer to all Madeirans. The Continente brand has been present in Madeira since 1996 and currently promotes 1,100 jobs with the support of 80 local producers who supply the stores.
