The Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Dr. Pedro Ramos, the President of SESARAM, Dr. Rafaela Fernandes and the Director of Operations for Continente in Madeira, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Salvado, will be present tomorrow, July 26<sup>th<\/sup>, at 11:30 am, at the Continente Modelo S. Martinho store, in Funchal, for the launch of the campaign.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe campaign takes place at Continente stores in Madeira, through the sale of 1\u20ac and 5\u20ac solidarity vouchers, between July 26<sup>th<\/sup> and September 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the \u2018Vales que V\u00eam por Bem\u2019 campaign, Miss\u00e3o Continente directly supports the unit with the works to expand the Neonatology service as well as 50,000 euros for the purchase of equipment.\r\n\r\nAccording to Jos\u00e9 Carlos Salvado, Director of Operations for Continente in Madeira, \u201c<em>Miss\u00e3o Continente has developed several local support actions in the Madeira region, in a dynamic that strengthens the concept \u201820 years of Thinking About Others\u2019. The main objective of the \u2018Vales que V\u00eam por Bem\u2019 is to support the neonatology service of the Funchal Hospital, which does fundamental work with all new-borns, especially premature infants, who are born in the Region. We are counting on the solidarity of all Madeirans in this great project, which belongs to everyone<\/em>\u201d.\r\n\r\nThis is also an initiative that is part of the \u2018<strong>Bom para a Madeira<\/strong>\u2019 campaign, which Continente is developing in the region as a way of celebrating MC\u2019s activity in the Archipelago and bringing the brand closer to all Madeirans.\r\n\r\nThe Continente brand has been present in Madeira since 1996 and currently promotes 1,100 jobs with the support of 80 local producers who supply the stores. In the region, Continente supports 36 social institutions on a daily basis.\r\n\r\nMiss\u00e3o Continente is Continente\u2019s brand of social responsibility, which is anchored in the values of community, mutual help, and care for others, in the search for a sustainable future.
