It is now the 5<sup>th<\/sup> edition of this Festival, which combines the spectacle of music with food, featuring the performance of national and international artists and the tasting of traditional dishes prepared by renowned Chefs, and which brings together more and more enthusiasts.\r\n\r\n<strong><em>Images and video <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Link<\/em><\/strong>\r\n\r\nChefs No\u00e9lia Jer\u00f3nimo, Diogo Rocha, H\u00e9lio Loureiro, Kiko Martins and Manuel Almeida prepared and served live some traditional delicacies in signature dishes, using national products. Chef Chakall, on the other hand, was \u2018on the grill\u2019 serving \u2018criolla\u2019 Argentinian sausage, \u2018chimichurri fraldinha\u2019 and cold potato salad.\r\n\r\nSebasti\u00e1n Yatra, Ana Moura, Calema, Diogo Pi\u00e7arra, Rita Rocha, Tony Carreira and Nina Toc Toc were the artists invited to take the stage at this Festival, capturing the attention of a diverse audience.\r\n\r\nIn \u2018Pra\u00e7a dos Vinhos\u2019 (Wine Square), visitors carried out more than 150 thousand tastings and in the Continente Academy\u2019s area several specialists, such as Chefs, nutritionists and winemakers, provided workshops to more than 350 people.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the festival, all surplus food from the Chefs\u2019 kitchens and other areas of the venue were donated to the Sra. da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o Parish Social Centre (Porta Solid\u00e1ria) as well as to the Food Bank Against Hunger in Porto, with the aim of avoiding food waste and, at the same time, supporting the local community, fundamental principles of recognized importance for the brand.\r\n\r\n\u2018Continente Food Festival\u2019 is the only free event in Portugal that combines the musical spectacle with the latest news in the food sector, and which aims to democratize access to entertainment through music, gastronomy with renowned Chefs, and provide great family moments with the multiple free activities accessible to all who visit this festival.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n&nbsp;","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over 500 thousand people spent this weekend at the \u2018Continenteal Food Festival\u2019, which was held in Porto\u2019s City Park, and [&hellip;]","protected":false},"author":19,"featured_media":14789,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[209,251,158,250,246,240,175],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-15338","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-continent-food-festival","category-continente-en","category-continente-food-festival","category-festival-da-comida-continente","category-mc-sonae","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.4 -
