BRITISH PLANT-BASED FOOD BRAND DEBUTS IN PORTUGAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Gosh!, a brand of products made with 100% natural plant-based ingredients, debuts in Portugal, exclusively in Continente stores across the country, with 8 references (5 refrigerated and 3 frozen), following national and international consumer trends.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nBeetroot burgers, sweet potato Falafel and Veggie bites (mini sausages) are some of the Gosh! varieties, with a RRP of \u20ac3.99. The products stand out for being rich in fiber, a source of protein and low in saturated fats. In addition, Gosh! products only use natural ingredients \u2013 \u201cthere is no ingredient in our products that you don\u2019t know about\u201d is the brand\u2019s promise &#8211; and they feature 100% recyclable packaging.\r\n\r\nIn Portugal, according to the \u2018<em>The Green Revolution 2021 Portugal<\/em>\u2019 study, by the consultancy Lantern, adherence to the \u201cveggie diet\u201d &#8211; which includes flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans &#8211; has registered a growing evolution in the country. In 2021 there were more than 1 million veggies in the country (34% more than in 2019), and 12% of the Portuguese adult population is veggie.\r\n\r\n\u201c<em>We are delighted to be launching the Gosh! brand in Portugal this August on Continente, with 8 exclusive products, in both the take away and the frozen sections. Our brand\u2019s ethos is to offer products made only with 100% natural ingredients, made from vegetables, herbs and spices, without any additives or preservatives. We created a range that we believe is differentiating and brings new flavours to the market. We know that Portuguese consumers are fans of healthy eating and, with the vegan offer\u2019s growth, we hope that our products are well received.
