{"id":12773,"date":"2022-08-03T15:37:51","date_gmt":"2022-08-03T15:37:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mc.sonae.pt\/?p=12773"},"modified":"2022-08-03T15:37:51","modified_gmt":"2022-08-03T15:37:51","slug":"continente-tours-portugal-with-10-regional-recipes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mc.sonae.pt\/en\/news\/uncategorized\/continente-tours-portugal-with-10-regional-recipes\/","title":{"rendered":"CONTINENTE TOURS PORTUGAL WITH 10 REGIONAL RECIPES"},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>To mark the support for the 83<sup>rd<\/sup> Portugal Bike Tour, one of the most cherished sporting events by the Portuguese, sponsored by Continente, and which takes place between August 4<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup>, the brand invited Chef Chakall to create 10 regional recipes*, one for each stage of the event, with local ingredients.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nAll recipes are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/feed.continente.pt\/novidades\/volta-a-portugal-continente\">Continente Feed<\/a> platform as well as in the 15 Continente stores that the Tour passes through, 5 of which will welcome the Chef on his \u2018stove-bike\u2019 for showcooking sessions available to the public, with the aim of showing exclusive regional recipes, cooked with typical products.\r\n\r\nChef Chakall will present the recipes in the following stores:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>August 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 3:30 pm: Elvas\u2019 Continente Modelo &#8211; Cod and Carrot \u2018Pataniscas\u2019 with Tabbouleh<\/li>\r\n \t<li>August 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 11:00 am: Castelo Branco\u2019s Continente Bom Dia \u2013 \u2018Feijoada\u2019 (beans and pork stew)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>August 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 11:00 am: Covilh\u00e3\u2019s Continente &#8211; Peach and \u2018Serra da Estrela\u2019 Cheese Bruschetta<\/li>\r\n \t<li>August 13<sup>th<\/sup>, 11:00 am: Fafe\u2019s Continente Modelo &#8211; Chicken Rice<\/li>\r\n \t<li>August 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 11:00 am: Cabeceiras de Basto\u2019s (Senhora da Gra\u00e7a) Continente Bom Dia \u2013 \u2018Regueifa\u2019 (type of bread) Bruschetta<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nDuring each session\u2019s 40 minutes, the public at the store will be able to help with the cooking, while the Chef explains the ingredients and the recipe\u2019s connection to the region. In the end, customers will be able to taste the result.\r\n\r\nDuring the 83<sup>rd<\/sup> Portugal Bike Tour, the \u2018Continente Caravan\u2019 will be the main stage for the brand\u2019s activation, which will pass through the departure and arrival locations, and features lucky roulette wheels that guarantee gifts to all who wish to participate.
