Located at S\u00edtio do Carrascal, in Odi\u00e1xere, the brand\u2019s second store in the municipality of Lagos is open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nTo highlight the arrival in the region, Miss\u00e3o Continente gifted shopping carts filled with essential goods to the institutions sponsored by the new store:\u00a0\u00a0Lagos\u2019 Refood, Portuguese Red Cross – Lagos Delegation, Lucinda Anino Santos Social Assistance Centre and \u2018Cadela Carlota & C\u00aa\u2019, an Animal Protection Association.\r\n\r\nThese institutions will be permanently supported by Miss\u00e3o Continente, through the new Continente Modelo Odi\u00e1xere store\u2019s daily food surpluses.\r\n\r\n\u201cIt is always full of joy and enthusiasm that we open a new Continente store. We want to continue to be close to our customers, for greater convenience, with the greatest variety on offer and the best prices. The new Continente Modelo Odi\u00e1xere store\u2019s team will certainly positively surprise our customers in the Algarve and all those who visit us. We await you all<\/em>\u201d says Patricia Silva, Director of the new Store, who has been with MC for 27 years.\r\n\r\nThe opening of the space is marked by a 10% discount on Continente Card campaign, throughout the entire store, between the 29th<\/sup> and 31st<\/sup> of July.\r\n\r\nThis opening reinforces Continente\u2019s commitment to the Faro district, which now has 20 of the brand\u2019s stores.\r\n\r\nContinente Modelo Odi\u00e1xere, like all the brand\u2019s stores, allows consumers to use reusable bags when buying fruit, vegetables or bakery products. It also provides consumers the ability to be active in the fight against food waste, through the sale of 0% Waste boxes, which contain 5 kg of fruits and vegetables in good consumption conditions, but close to the limit of their shelf life, for sale for \u20ac0.50\/kg.
