This campaign also aims to raise awareness on a topic as important as the environment and, thus, we will be gifting our \u2018neighbours\u2019 an electric car<\/em>\u201d.\r\n\r\nMeu Super supermarkets seek to respond to the most demanding customers\u2019 needs with proximity stores, with a personalized service, extended hours and products with both quality and variety. This proximity and convenience format has gained greater importance among customers in recent years, thus remaining an option for frequent purchases, in the neighbourhood of customers\u2019 residence, workplace or schools.\r\n\r\nThis year, Meu Super was awarded the \u201cSeal of Excellence in Franchising 2022\u201d, granted by the Portuguese Franchising Association. This award measures the satisfaction rate of franchisees, being awarded to the companies that best operate in the franchise market in Portugal. Also this year, Meu Super was the winner, for the 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0consecutive year, of the Consumer Choice award, which demonstrates notoriety and recognition from consumers. Meu Super stores were also awarded, for the 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0consecutive year, with the \u2018Excellentia\u2019 and the \u2018Cinco Estrelas\u2019 Awards.\r\n\r\n\u2018Meu Super\u2019 opened 37 new stores in 2021, including Madeira, Azores and Cape Verde, which stand out for their quality fresh products, the presence of Continente\u2019s private label products and other leading brands in the market, competitive prices and an attractive promotional plan reinforced by the ability to use Continente\u2019s Fidelity card, through in-store discounts and benefits from a wide network of partners.\r\n\r\nOver 11 years, Meu Super opened around 316 stores across the country, with a total sales area of \u200b\u200b50 thousand m<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0and created 1500 jobs.
