The retailer has consistently remained at the forefront of market trends in Portugal, pioneering sales concepts and channels as well as anticipating future consumer needs.\r\n\r\n\u2018MC\u2019 earned 5,362 million euros in 2021, which represents a 6.3% growth compared to 2020. Last year, \u2018MC\u2019 opened 64 own stores, with a total area of \u200b\u200b25 thousand m<sup>2<\/sup>, and increased its online sales by about 30%.\r\n\r\nThe new Brand reinforces the company\u2019s identity, assuming its origin, its legacy: \u2018MC\u2019.\r\n\r\nThe retailer, which was born \u2018Modelo Continente\u2019, had the mission to democratize access to products and services.
