Martinho, in Funchal. The new store, with self-service bakery, is characterized by its modern design and proximity to the customer. Santa Cruz will be the next location to get a Meu Super store, in early 2022, starting off the new expansions in Madeira planned for next year.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe new store is daily, from 8am to 8pm.\r\n\r\n\u201cThe Meu Super brand has been present in the region for 8 years and we want to further strengthen our presence, serving new locations on the island and more neighbourhoods in the city of Funchal. In order to do that, we rely on strong partners to reinforce this ambition to grow in Madeira<\/em>\u201d, explains Tom\u00e1s Lince Fernandes, general director at Meu Super.\r\n\r\nWith the opening of Meu Super\u2019s S\u00e3o Martinho store (Funchal), the brand will create 5 new jobs and will now have 12 stores in the Madeira region, totalling more than 1700m2<\/sup> of sales area.\r\n\r\n\u201cOn Madeira island, Meu Super will now have 12 proximity stores, and we are currently also in all districts of mainland Portugal, in the Azores and, internationally, in Cape Verde. For 2022, our goals are to continue to bet on sustainability and continue to expand the Meu Super brand in the Madeira region<\/em>\u201d, says Tom\u00e1s Lince Fernandes.\r\n\r\nMeu Super stores, 30 of which opened in 2021, are distinguished by their quality fresh products, the featuring of Continente private label products and other leading brands in the market, competitive prices and an attractive promotional plan, reinforced by the possibility of using the Continente loyalty card, through in-store discounts and benefits in a wide network of partners. Over 10 years, Meu Super opened around 300 stores across the country, with a total sales area of \u200b\u200b50 thousand m2 <\/sup>and created 1500 jobs.
